About Rebecca:
Many of the jobs I have done have involved caring for people from working in a school for deaf children, a residential home with handicapped adults and providing care in the community for elderly people. My first degree was in Neuroscience but on leaving University I spent several years traveling and working in IT. When I decided I wanted a career which involved working more directly with people rather than machines I chose to study Chinese medicine. I was living in New Zealand at the time where the large Asian population means acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine is much more widely accepted and available there. I find the rich history and the diverse application of this system of medicine fascinating and the outcome of treatment to be very effective.
